Description of service offered


The service for centimetre-accurate positioning is RTK FIX:
– an area-wide network of permanent GNSS reference stations.
– A service provided by RTK FIX. RTK Direct makes observation data available via a network of permanently installed GNSS reference stations for accurate positioning with GNSS systems including the Global Positioning System (GPS), Glonass, Galileo and Beidou.
The users of the RTK FIX service can, with the appropriate equipment, use the standardised observation data to perform positioning surveys.
The positioning can be done as follows: for “real-time” measurements, the customer can have the so-called RTK observations according to the RTCM format.
Offered services:
– Data from observations for “real-time” applications (RTK service) can be obtained by connecting via mobile internet with a user name and password.

Scope of RTK Direct services


As provider of an area-wide network of active GNSS reference stations, RTK FIX tries to ensure the optimal quality and continuity of its services according to the current state of the art. In doing so, RTK FIX makes sure that an outage of a GNSS reference station or a failure in the communication lines is remedied without unreasonable delay.
RTK FIX may change its services within the framework of its network in the future, this in function of new technologies or insights. RTK FIX will focus on the current standards in GNSS service provision. Possible upgrades that may need to be provided to the device will always be at the expense of the user. Except in the case of force majeure, RTK FIX will give registered users at least 3 months’ notice by means of a notice.

Access & Usage conditions


Via our online store, an organisation or person can apply for one or more subscriptions. After completing payment, a subscription will be provided within minutes via e-mail.
At least one administrator is registered per organisation. This administrator can request several subscriptions for his organisation. The administrator must also indicate each time which type of subscription he wishes to obtain.
RTK FIX can check whether he is requesting the right type of subscription and inform the administrator that he needs to request a different type of subscription.
Registration involves the following steps:
– the creation of a user account (specification of the organization data, the data of the
administrator(s), e-mail, mobile phone number);
– specifying the data of its GNSS receiver;
After acceptance by RTK FIX, the operator then receives the necessary access codes for the subscription for his GNSS receiver and the necessary settings.
By registering to RTK FIX, the user agrees to the general terms and conditions of access and use. In addition, the user declares to have read and accepted the privacy statement.

Payments, renewals and cancellations


Since RTK FIX is a subscription based product we are only able to accepts the following payment methods: 

  • Credit Card or Debit card
  • IDEAL Payments
  • Paypal
  • Apple Pay
  • Bancontant
  • Belfius

The first initial payment will be paid manually by the customer through our online store, all renewal payment will be automatically deducted from your bank account via the payment method you have selected unless cancelled. All Subscriptions can be cancelled by the customer at any given time.

When other payments methods arise that allow for the use of subscription base transaction we will make sure to add these to the payment gateway.

Renewal orders:

All subscriptions lasts for the duration you have selected. At the end of this period, your subscription will automatically be renewed for the same duration as previously selected, and you will incur the cost for the subscription until you explicitly cancel your subscription by logging into your account and clicking Cancel  in your account settings.


You can cancel your subscription at any time before your subscription has been renewed. If you don’t want your subscription to be renewed, make sure you cancel before the renewal time. You can find the renewal time in My account under My Subscription.  Once a subscription has been cancelled, it will be active until the expiry date it was initially purchased for. RTK users can receive RTCM data for a fee specified when the initial purchase is made.
RTK FIX reserves the right to charge costs for certain additional services or to discontinue offering them. The user will be notified of this at least 1 week in advance by means of an announcement on RTK FIX’s website and a notification via e-mail. If necessary, this will require a new adapted registration.

Internal use and transfer to third parties


RTK FIX owns the available data.
The user undertakes to use the data supplied to him only for internal use and not to pass it on or sell it to third parties except with the explicit and prior consent of RTK FIX. The use of RTK FIX is only permitted for the purposes for which the user has registered. When passing on data to third parties, the user is obliged to communicate the terms of use and privacy statement and to have them accepted.

The user is obliged to take adequate and adequate technological and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access to or use of the data. The user is obliged to refrain from taking any action that would hamper the availability of the data and to refrain from any use of the data in a way that has the purpose or effect of causing damage to its holder.

The user may not use or deploy RTK FIX in function of a technology with life-critical or life-saving applications.



The user cannot hold RTK FIX liable for any direct, indirect or any damage caused by or in connection with the use of the RTK FIX service or the impossibility of using it (for example, but not limited to damage resulting from the failure of the system or the inability to receive the RTK observation data. RTK FIX is therefore not liable for, among other things, damage caused by failure of a reference station, data centre or failure of communication, except in the case of intent, gross negligence or gross negligence. RTK FIX emphasises that, despite the utmost care, a predetermined quality of the observation data cannot be guaranteed. These observations may, in addition to being influenced by reception and communication errors, also contain errors and inaccuracies due to limitations/deliberate disturbances in the GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and/or Galileo system itself and disturbances in the atmosphere (ionosphere), all of which are beyond the RTK FIX’s reach and for which RTK FIX cannot be held liable.

The user makes use of an internet provider for the RTK service, whereby the mobile communication provided by him cannot be optimal in all area. RTK FIX cannot guarantee that the RTK FIX service is possible in all areas.

Right to refuse access


RTK FIX has the right to deny the user the right of access to RTK FIX in case of possible abuse (such as deliberate registration under the wrong type of subscription, unauthorised transmission to third parties, …). If necessary, RTK FIX will send a reasoned notification stating the abuse and the period within which access will be denied. RTK FIX may also propose a period of time for the user to rectify his misuse before proceeding to close down.

Modification of the Terms & Conditions


RTK FIX reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions unilaterally. The user will be notified at least 1 months in advance by means of an announcement on RTK FIX’s website.



If one or more articles in these general conditions are not legal, for whatever reason, this will not affect the other articles.

Applicable law


Dutch law shall govern all agreements, to which the present general conditions are whole or partly applicable.

All disputes arising from offers made by RTK FIX and/or the Client shall exclusively be submitted to the judgement of the district court in The Hague.



In case of contradiction between the original (Dutch) version and the translated (English) version of the present general conditions, the original (Dutch) version shall prevail.
